‘STEALTH’ – CERAMIC TILE SET

Three tiles come together to form a little narrative, to freeze a fleeting moment happening in a jungle.
A pair of sharp eyes…
A striped tail amongst the trees…
And now a hare leaping out of the tile !

This is a set of three ceramic tiles fixed on to a teakwood plaque, intended to be displayed as an outdoor wall-mounted illustrated piece. The illustration on each tile consists of relief work as well as engraved work to create depth and subtle shadow-play.

The pair of big yellow eyes staring out of the dark top tile are intended to attract attention first. From then on, the onlookers can explore the scenes on the other two tiles and make their own connections between them to interpret the camouflaged narrative!

The tiles were conceptualized, illustrated, carved and glazed by Chetna Singh.
